As a Mom of two "autistic spectrum" children I have learned so much about autism. My daughter Nicole, who will be 17 years old in December of 2010 and my son, Sean, who is 12 years old and will become a teenager in April of 2011, are two of the greatest gifts I ever could have imagined.  

 

I remember when my daughter was born and she presented some obvious physical anomalies.  It wasn't until she was 8 months old did we have a diagnosis of moebius syndrome, which explained many of the physical anomalies presented by her.  It wasn't until she was in elementary school that a diagnosis of autism was given.  My son was diagnosed at age 2 as autistic.  So, I guess my point here is that I have a great deal of experience with autism and more.   My journey has taken me down many different paths searching for answers and a way to give them a quality of life that they deserve. 

 

As this page is about "Autism and Spiritual Evolution" this is what I am going to share with you.  I won't go into all the therapies, doctors, educational challenges and all the other aspects that are addressed for those who have been diagnosed on the spectrum of autism.  I want to share with you what I have come to believe about autism beyond what we see in our physical reality.

 

As my innate abilities started to reawaken several years ago, I came to understand that there is a different level of communication between people.  That I have the ability to connect with my children on a different level.  This new knowledge came to be very handy as my daughter, Nicole, is non-verbal.  There is nothing more frustrating for a parent not to be able to know the needs of their child and be able to help them when they need help.  On the other hand, there is nothing more frustrating for the child in need not to be able to successfully communicate their needs to their parents, family members, teachers and others who are in their circle of life. 

 

I have learned to go to a higher existence within me and connect on that same level with my children.  In other words, I communicate with their "higher-self" to explore their world and learn what may be going on with my children.  This has opened many more opportunities for me and my children to enjoy life together.  It's truly nice not to play that guessing game of maybe this is going on or maybe it's something else and hoping that my guessing was right! 

 

It is my belief that most autistic spectrum individuals actually exist at a very high vibrational level.  In fact, Doreen Virtue defines ADHD quite right on in my way of thought.  Doreen refers to ADHD as someone who has their "attention dialed to a higher dimension".  After all, in the higher dimensions the languages spoken here on Earth do notexist.  My daughter has recently congratulated me on my growth in understanding this.  She expressed that she is happy that I have finally evolved to her level!  Now how interesting is that to know?

 

Our children, who are new to the planet are our future. Fascinating to me that so many people say this, but seem not to really embrace this.  Their physical bodies can not tolerate much of the food that is fed to them.  Many of us have witnessed our children presenting digestive issues, cognitive abilities challenged, allergies to many foods and our outside environment and much more.  To help my children with these many challenges I work with them energetically to balance their energy fields and chakras.  I also implement a nutritional supplemental protocol.  I stopped kidding myself a long time ago that by only feeding them organic foods would be enough. "go to my nutritional page to learn more about this"
